
Marilena Zoi is a German teacher, appointed in Primary Education. Although she was born in Ioannina, she spent her childhood and adolescence in Nuremberg, Germany. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Department of German Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2016 she graduated from the Department of Digital Media and Communication at ATEI West Macedonia. Since 2020 she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Ioannina.
She has worked as a German teacher in public schools of Primary and Secondary Education, Institutes of Vocational Education, Higher Technological Educational Institutions and Higher Educational Institutions coming in daily contact with both children and adults.
She has published articles in Greece and abroad, and her publication has been awarded as the best paper among 400 scientific papers at an international conference in Dubai.
She is an active member of the “Panhellenic Association of German Language Teachers of University Education” (PDV) and the “Scientific Association for the Promotion of Educational Innovation” (E.E.P.E.K.).
Her research interests are related to teacher education and professional development, the application of ICT in education, teaching of German as a second/foreign language and Mentoring.
