This high-intermediate to advanced course aims to strengthen students’ oral and written French language skills. It focuses on acquiring a richer vocabulary, mastering complex grammatical structures, and developing analytical and argumentative skills through readings and discussions on a variety of topics.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, students will be able to:- Understand written and oral texts of intermediate to advanced difficulty.
- Participate in conversations on abstract and cultural topics.
- Write argumentative essays and analytical texts while respecting grammatical rules.
- Improve their pronunciation and fluency in oral expression.
- Deepen their knowledge of Francophone culture and society.
Course Content:
- Grammar Review and Expansion
Advanced verb moods and tenses (subjunctive, conditional, indirect speech).
Relative and demonstrative pronouns. Sequence of tenses. - Reading and Listening Comprehension
Analysis of press articles and literary excerpts, both contemporary and classical.
Comprehension of podcasts and French radio/TV programs. - Synthesis and Summary Exercises: Written and Oral Expression
Writing argumentative and analytical texts.
Oral presentations on current or cultural topics.
Role-playing and classroom debates. - Francophone Culture and Civilization
Study of films, songs, and literary works.
Discussion of social and political trends in France and Francophone countries.
Methodology:

Course Objective
This course aims to strengthen students’ skills in understanding and using the French language in everyday situations. Students will further develop the basic language structures and vocabulary they have already acquired, with a focus on communication in more complex situations, both oral and written.Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to:- Understand simple to intermediate oral and written texts on topics related to daily life.
- Express themselves clearly in common social situations, describing experiences, expressing wishes, and asking for information.
- Participate in simple discussions and express personal opinions on familiar topics.
- Write short, structured texts describing personal topics, experiences, and needs.
- Use in both written and oral production, essential terminology and specialized vocabulary of their field of study.

This course aims to introduce participants to the basic structures and vocabulary of the French language. It also aims to improve oral and written comprehension and production in everyday situations, and to provide the tools to continue learning the language at a more advanced level.Learning objectives
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:- Understand and use simple expressions and phrases to express basic needs.
- Introduce themselves and others and ask and answer simple questions (e.g. about personal information, daily activities).
- Handle simple communication situations, such as ordering food, asking for directions or discussing the day’s schedule.
