English for Economists 2 builds upon the foundations of the previous semester and aims to further develop students’ academic and professional English skills, specifically within the field of economics. Emphasis is placed on mastering all four language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—through exposure to authentic materials, academic texts, and multimedia content. A key feature of the course is the teaching of economic jargon and concepts through selected films and video clips. Digital tools such as Google Docs, infographics, interactive games, and the e-class platform support the learning experience. By the end of the course, students will be able to critically analyze academic and media content, use economic terminology confidently, and produce structured academic writing tailored to their field.
