This course is designed to build students’ technical vocabulary within the field of mechanical engineering. Students will gain familiarity with essential terminology across diverse areas such as manufacturing, machine tools, renewable energy, electricity generation, robotics, and related disciplines. Emphasis will be placed on developing the ability to use precise, context-appropriate vocabulary when discussing technical concepts, both orally and in writing. In addition, the course will strengthen academic writing skills, enabling students to communicate complex mechanical engineering ideas with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
